بعد أسبوع من الآن تستضيف Google منتدى العالم العربي 2.0 وهو أول منتدى إقليمي تعقده الشركة منذ بداية عملياتها بالمنطقة العربية، وسينعقد المنتدى في 10 فبراير الجاري، حيث يلتقي أكثر من مائة وخمسين من صناع القرار في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا للتعرف على الآفاق المستقبلية للانترنت ومجالات الابتكار في الأسواق الناشئة.
ويستضيف المنتدى هذا العام فينتون سيرف، نائب رئيس جوجل ورئيس تطوير منتجات الإنترنت في الشركة، و محمد جودت؛ مدير عام ورئيس مجلس الأسواق الناشئة في جوجل، اللذان سوف يسهمان في إدارة الحوار عن مستقبل الإنترنت في الوطن العربي، مع مجموعة من المتحدثين من قطاع الأعمال والقطاع الحكومي.
في ظل التطورات الكبيرة التي تشهدها المنطقة, سوف يشكل منتدى جوجل : العالم العربي 2.0 منصة هامة تجمع قادة هذا القطاع لمناقشة السبل الكفيلة بتطوير اقتصاد المعرفة في القرن الواحد والعشرين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
Google Day: Arabia 2.0
We're thrilled and excited - after a few years in market Google is hosting its first ever Google Day in MENA. Over 150 CEOs, CMOs, Government leaders and thought leaders are joining this day to imagine the futrure of Arabia allowing us to think about and debate together the path of innovatoin in Arabia.
Google Day should prove to be a great platform to get community leaders together to discuss how we can collectively work to advance the 21st century knowledge economy across MENA. Helping us structure our discussions and debates is Vint Cerf, Google’s Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist and Mohammad Gawdat, MD for SEEMEA who will both look at the prospects and challenges of innovation in MENA as well as the future of the internet.
This is an an exciting time in the evolution of Middle East Internet development - MENA has a challenge and an opportunity to take a leap of faith and embrace the benefits of the Internet and generate continued growth of content online.
