هل رغبت يوما في البحث علي الويب عن كلمات مثل "المغرب" أو "استقبال الأطفال" و لكنك لم تتمكن من ادخال طلب البحث لأنك لا تملك لوحة مفاتيح عربية؟ اصبح ذلك ممكنا بالفعل باستخدام تعريب Google بمجرد ادخال "el maghreb" أو "istikbal al 2atfal" فتقوم Google بتحويلها إلي الأحرف العربية.
يسعدنا اليوم أن نخبركم عن دمج خدمة تعريب داخل بحث Google. بموجب هذه الخدمة الجديدة سيتمكن المستخدم من ادخال طلبات البحث المنطوقة بالأحرف اللاتينية في مربع البحث و سيتم عرض اقتراحات البحث باللغة العربية إذا تبين أن طلب البحث عربي و أنه ليس هناك أي اقتراحات لطلب البحث باللغة الإنجليزية.
وهنا بعض من مساهمات هذه الميزة في تحسين عمليات البحث على شبكة الإنترنت:
- ادخال طلب بحث عربي: بإمكانك إجراء بحث بمجرد ادخال أحرف لاتينية منطوقة بلا حاجة إلى لوحة مفاتيح عربية أو قص و لصق مصطلح البحث من تعريب Google أو من معالج نصوص.
- مستخدمي اللغة العربية كلغة ثانية سيمكنهم بسهولة إدخال طلبات بحث دون الوقوع في أخطاء إملائية.
- توفير الاقتراحات لطلب البحث يقلل من احتمالية القيام بأخطاء كتابية.

Arabic Transliteration in Google Suggest
Have you ever wanted to search on the web for, say, "المغرب" or "استقبال الاطفال" but were unable to enter the search terms because you didn't have an Arabic keyboard? Using Google transliteration, it is already possible to enter "el maghreb" or "istikbal al" and let Google turn it into Arabic script.
Today we're happy to announce integration of Arabic transliteration directly into Google web search. With this new feature, you can now simply type search queries phonetically in Latin letters directly into the search box. Google Suggest will offer suggestions in Arabic script whenever it considers the query as Arabic and doesn't have good suggestions for the query in Latin characters.
Here are some of the ways in which this feature will help your web searches:
- Arabic input: You can simply search by typing phonetically in latin characters without getting an Arabic keyboard or copying and pasting your search term from Google transliteration or a word processor.
- Users of Arabic as a second language can easily enter queries without making spelling mistakes.
- Having automatically generated suggestions saves you many keystrokes when entering search terms.
Please note that this feature is only active for Arabic user interfaces. You can change your interface language on your preferences page.
